Concordia Musicians Receive Best Performance Award at Jinqiao Lantern Festival

This year, our talented G11 students shone brightly as they stepped up to volunteer and proudly represent Concordia in the 2025 Jinqiao Lantern Festival. Our young musicians - Vocalist Mian Z., guitarist Ellen Z., keyboardist Hyeongbin C., violinist Elsie F., and drummer Sparrow Y.—delivered a beautiful performance of From the Start. Their passion and energy captivated everyone present, drawing all eyes and ears to the stage as the vibrant drumbeats resonated through the air. Their outstanding performance not only mesmerized the audience but also earned them the prestigious Best Performance Award.

Behind this success was two months of unwavering hard work. These young musicians devoted their after-school hours and even part of their holidays to practices, demonstrating remarkable commitment, perseverance and teamwork. Their efforts culminated in a breathtaking performance that truly reflected their talent and dedication.

The 2025 Jinqiao International Lantern Festival is a beloved Chinese tradition as we celebrating CNY in this Green City community. Hosted by Jinqiao Administration Bureau and Jinqiao Government, this vibrant event aims to enhance Sino-foreign cultural exchange and spread heartfelt New Year blessings.
