Xplorations are Coming!
Xplorations will be coming the week of June 1 to June 12. This year, we are changing the format of Explorations to provide options for our students to dig deeper into one topic of high interest to them. This information will be shared in the near future with students and parents. Students will learn about their Xploration for this year shortly!
One piece that is new this year is the options for students to create their own options for an Independent Style study during Explorations. There will be elements similar to our independent study options for courses including a written plan, a deliverable on the learning when finished, and approval from administration. If students are planning an Independent Study or Internship, they must submit a proposal no later than May 27th. The document for this proposal is here: Independent Study and Internship Proposal 2025-26
Food Sustainability Tip of the Week:
Try replacing one or two meat-based meals each week with plant-based options like beans, lentils, or tofu to reduce your environmental impact while still getting enough protein.
Updates and Reminders
The last school day of the year is Friday, June 12th. It is a half day and all high school students will be released by 11:30 am to their homes.
